The latest edition of BioEnergy Italy hosted 149 exhibitiors from 4 countries and 9,884 professional visitors. The exhibition is the most effective marketplace for renewable energy also because it takes place within the biggest and most important Italian district for the industry.

According to the last figures of the CRPA, at the end of 2012, Italy counted on 994 agricultural biogas plants for a total installed power of 750 MW. 52% of these plants are located in the regions of Lombardy and Emilia Romagna. Similarly, as far as the photovoltaic field is concerned, the Po Valley is the most suitable area of Italy: out of 478,331 systems installed in our Country, 25% of them are located between Lombardy and Emilia Romagna (source: GSE).

BioEnergy Italy is also a real laboratory of ideas for the industry: every year the exhibition hosts more than 30 events among congresses, seminars and workshops to attract the right people to deal with in order to develop new business.
